GRADING POLICY: Method of Student Evaluation Each Tuesday, students will turn in written work based on the material covered the week before. Each of these assignments is worth 10 points. There will be a total of 90 points possible since one assignment will be dropped and no work will be collected during the first week. There is no final exam for this class.
The problems to be handed in will be selected based on the questions of the students, therefore if you miss a class have a study partner whom you can call for this information. Missing a class will not excuse you from handing in the work on time. I will also post the assigned problems on the bulletin board outside of my office (room A204).
Your grade will be based on your percentage of the possible points. If you receive 70% or more of the possible points, you will receive a grade of Credit. Anyone with less than 70% of the possible points, will receive a grade of No Credit.
