IV.  Modelling - The class will take a field trip to the meteorology station and model the temperature with an equation.  We will answer the following questions

1)  Does your function accurately model the temperature?

2)  What is the max and min of your function?

3)  Over what intervals is the temperature increasing? Decreasing?

4)  How could your function be improved upon?

(You will receive one point of extra credit on your homework if you write,"I love Math"on the homework assignment that is due on 9/21/99.
