Members Present:  Kurt Green, Jon Kingsbury, Steve Fernald, Larry Green, Beachy Orr

Members Absent:  Rosie Hackett

Staff:  Terry Livesay

Items discussed:

1)      Approval of minutes from April 10 meeting: Approved by consensus

2)  Start evaluation process of new courses submitted:

The committee reviewed the original seven courses that were submitted for SLOs and MASLOs which resulted in all being moved forward. 

3)  Evaluation of resubmitted courses:

There were four resubmitted courses that resulted in one all being moved forward and three being returned to the initiator.

4)  Other items:

a)     The committee again unanimously agreed to return HIS 111, HIS 112, and HIS 113 after these courses were resubmitted without any of the changes being done that the committee requested when they were initially submitted.

b)     Kurt will meet with Lori Gaskin tomorrow regarding the ‘2006 – 2007 Institutional Annual Report of Student Learning Outcomes’.  The committee discussed having this report put on the Web Site and they unanimously agreed.

c)     Steve suggested that Kurt e-mail the faculty reminding them of the upcoming deadline for submitting SLOs and MASLOs for the current academic year.  Kurt agreed to send the e-mail to the faculty.
