Members Present:  Kurt Green, Jon Kingsbury, Steve Fernald, Larry Green, Rosie Hackett

Items discussed:

1)      Approval of minutes from November 27 meeting: Approved by consensus

2)     Start evaluation process of new courses submitted:

The committee reviewed the original seven courses that were submitted for SLOs and MASLOs which resulted in all being returned to the initiator.  There were five late additions that the committee will review and e-mail Kurt with their decisions by Wednesday 12/6/06. 

3)  Discussion of SLOs and MASLOs for Web Site:

This discussion did not take place as the meeting time ran out.

4)  CMS – Evidence of Need:

This discussion did not take place as the meeting time ran out, but as requested by the Curriculum Committee, Kurt was informed that when faculty update SLOs they need to state this in the Evidence of Need  in CMS.

5)  Other items:

a)      Discussion took place on how the committee should view the MASLOs for each course.  The current assessment of MASLOs involves some degree of detail in their descriptions.  It was suggested that the committee forego any assessment of the MASLOs at this time.  After much discussion, it was decided to continue with the current approach.

b)     The next meeting will convene on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from 1:30pm – 2:30pm.
