SLO Committee Meeting

Members Present:  Kurt Green, Jon Kingsbury, Lisa Foley, Scott Valentine

Staff:  Terry Livesay

Items discussed:

1)      Approval of minutes from October 1 meeting: Approved by consensus

2)  Start evaluation process of new courses submitted:

The committee reviewed the original 11 courses that were submitted for SLOs and MASLOs which resulted in nine being moved forward and two being sent back to the initiator.  The committee also reviewed the 16 resubmissions which resulted in all being moved forward.

3)  Other items:

a)     Kurt stated that Steve Richardson would not be on the committee after all as he has class on Wednesday afternoons.  Kurt then went over the committee’s functions with Scott Valentine.

b)     Jon asked Terry to go ahead and send out the meeting requests now that we know definitely who will be on the committee.

c)     Kurt suggested that when we have 10 or less courses to review that it be done via email.  The committee agreed.

Meeting was adjourned at 2:55pm.
