Identify
the other instructors who will also be teaching this class

Meet the
instructors (can be done with email) to agree on a rubric; everyone must use
the same rubric.

Identify
the assessment tools (exam, quiz, etc) that will be used for assessing the SLO.
Each instructor selects their own tool so they can be different.

Students
take the assessment.

Each
instructor uses the rubric to identify the percentage of students in each
level of achieving the SLO.

Compile
the data.

Meet with
the instructors to make a plan for improving instruction based on the data.

Disseminate via email or paper copies the plan to the entire math department
and to the SLO coordinator.
